«NARARGIN» biologically active food supplement

  «Narargin» is a biologically active food supplement (BAS) created based on beneficial properties of probiotic lactic acid bacteria that synthesize the conditionally essential amino acid arginine and antimicrobial compounds – bacteriocins.
  Microorganisms in the preparation composition are capable of adhesion and resistant to the effects of the intestinal mucosa, have high antioxidant activity. The unique feature of the selectively obtained lactic acid bacteria to synthesize arginine promotes the regeneration of insulin-producing β-cells, stimulation of the secretory function of the pancreas.
   «Narargin» is used for prophylaxis of type 2 diabetes, dysbacteriosis, as well as for maintaining, restoring and preserving the balance of the intestinal microflora during antibiotic treatment. Moreover, it contributes to the reduction of blood cholesterol levels.

Instruction for use
1 g of lyophilized cells of lactic acid bacteria contains:
0.2 g Lactobacillus acidophilus MDC 9602 (“Narine” strain) 2х108 CFU,
0.7 g Lactobacillus rhamnosus MDC 9631 5х108 CFU.
Excipients:
sucrose – 0.07 g
gelatin – 0.03 g
Nutritional value per 100 g of the drug:
Proteins – 3.6 g, fats – 0.5 g, carbohydrates – 3.4 g
Energy value: 55 kcal
Indications for use:
• prevention of dysbacteriosis
• normalization of intestinal microflora
• maintenance or restoration of the balance of intestinal microflora during antibiotic therapy
• prevention of type 2 diabetes (stimulation of the secretory function of the pancreas)
• lowering the level of blood cholesterol
Mode of application:
Adults and children over 3 years should take 1 capsule 3 times a day for 1-3 months. If necessary, repeat the course.
Storage conditions:
Store in a dry, dark place, at a temperature not above +25°C; keep out of the reach of children. No refrigeration required.
Shelf life: 24 months

«NARINE» fermented milk product

The fermented milk product «NARINE» is a therapeutic-preventive and dietary nutrition for children and adults based on a monoculture of lactic acid bacterium Lactobacillus acidophilus MDC 9602 (Ep.317/402) (MDC – Microbial Depository Center, the Department of the SPC “Armbiotechnology” NAS RA).
The «NARINE» culture was isolated in 1964, thoroughly studied and characterized in the Institute of Microbiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Armenian SSR by a group of scientists under the guidance of Prof. L.A. Erzinkyan and deposited with the Republican Center of Microbial Depository NAS of Armenia (1993). The Scientific and Production Center «Armbiotechnology» NAS RA, state non-profit organization (SPC «Armbiotechnology» NAS RA, SNPO) currently appears as a legal successor of the Institute of Microbiology of the Academy of Sciences of the Armenian SSR and the Republican Center of Microbial Depository NAS RA. The serial production of «NARINE» (paste-like, lyophilized) was launched in «Armbiotechnology» SPC NAS RA in 2014, according to the Armenian Standard AST 173-2015.
The fermented milk product «NARINE» is produced from natural pasteurized cow skim milk by fermentation with pure monoculture of lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus MDC 9602.
The «NARINE» product has a delicate sour milk taste and flavor, milk color and its main property is expressed viscosity.
Due to its unique biological formula, the product is widely used as a probiotic. The «NARINE» product has won the widest recognition as a therapeutic and preventive agent in various gastrointestinal tract disorders. It plays an essential role for normalization of the intestinal microflora in dysbacteriosis of different origin and its aftereffects, including secondary immunodeficiencies and chronic fatigue syndrome. It is a mighty antioxidant, which removes radionuclides, toxins and various pathological agents from the human body.

«NARINE» lactic acid bacteria are resistant to the impact of a series of antibiotics and chemotherapeutic preparations. They have high antagonistic activity against a wide range of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms (pathogenic agents of dysentery, enteric fever, salmonellosis, pathogenic Escherichia coli, streptococci, staphylococci, protea); recover proper normal intestinal microflora, as well as its motor function; promote synthesis of vitamins of B, C, E, P group, as well as of folic acid and biotin in the body.
The fermented milk product «NARINE» is recommended for use to adults (200 g daily) and children from six months as supplementary nutrition to the basic ration.
The «NARINE» product is realized in large pharmacy chains and supermarkets in Yerevan. The product under the terms of the «Law on public procurements of Armenia» is delivered to a number of kindergartens and maternity homes, as well as to the institutions in the system of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia.
The dry product «NARINE» is a freeze-dried live culture of acidophilic lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus acidophilus MDC 9602. It can be used as a source for preparing starter cultures, and as an independent therapeutic and prophylactic agent in the form of powders, gelatin capsules in combination with other drugs.

PLANT OILS FOR FOOD, MEDICAL-PREVENTIVE AND COSMETIC PURPOSES

In 2018 in the SPC “Armbiotechnology” NAS RA on the basis of the Laboratory of Galenic and New Galenic Preparations the production of plant oils for food, medical-preventive and cosmetic purposes was established.
Sea buckthorn oil. It is produced by cold pressing from raw materials selected in ecologically clean regions of Armenia. Available in glass bottles of 30 and 50 ml with 50, 100, 140 and 180 mg% content of carotenoids; rich in high content of vitamins A, D, E, F and K. Stimulates reparative processes in the skin and mucous membranes, accelerates healing of damaged tissues. It has tonic, antioxidant and cytoprotective effects. Reduces the intensity of free radical processes and protects cell and subcellular membranes from damage (due to the presence of fat-soluble bioantioxidants). .

Linseed oil. It is produced by cold pressing from raw materials selected in ecologically clean regions of Armenia. Available in glass bottles of 100 and 250 ml. Distinguished by a high content of polyunsaturated (omega) fatty acids. It is widely used in medicine, pharmacology and cosmetology. It is used as one of the fortifying and immunoprotective components in the complex treatment of colds, diseases of the kidneys, thyroid, bladder, nervous system. The product reduces pressure, used as an effective remedy for improving male potency.

Thistle oil. It is produced by cold pressing from raw materials selected in ecologically clean regions of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. Available in glass bottles of 30 and 50 ml. Used in the treatment of diseases of the skin, mucous membranes and internal organs - the liver and gall bladder. Contains hepaprotector - silymarin. The product strengthens the immune system, has anti-inflammatory, as well as regenerating effect after serious operations and chemotherapy.

Almond oil. It is produced by cold pressing using the seeds of bitter and sweet almond. Available in 30 ml glass bottles. Widely used in the cosmetic industry in the formulations of cosmetic milk, nourishing creams, masks, hair enhancement products. Traditionally used as a massage product. It has a softening, nourishing and protective effect on the skin and hair. It has anti-inflammatory, regenerating and tonic effects.

Sesame oil. It is produced by cold pressing using white and black sesame seeds. Available in 30 ml glass bottles. It is used as an anti-inflammatory, wound healing, anesthetic, bactericidal, antihelminthic, immunostimulating, laxative and diuretic. Due to the content of magnesium, B vitamins, sesamoline and polyunsaturated acids, the product have sedative and antidepressant properties.

Apricot kernel oil. It is produced by cold pressing. Environmentally friendly product. Available in 30 ml glass bottles. Used for cosmetic purposes. It has refreshing, regenerating, healing, soothing, tonic antibacterial, antiseptic, emollient and antioxidant effects.

Peach kernel oil. It is produced by cold pressing. Environmentally friendly product. Available in 30 ml glass bottles. Widely used in cosmetology for care of the inflamed, dry and sensitive skin. Due to its composition has excellent nutritional properties. In medicine it is used in the treatment of cardio-vascular diseases, anemia, gallstone and urolithiasis, otolaryngological diseases.
